Built to read a lot and keep very little.

To find decisions, Because has to read conversations. So the whole product is designed around forgetting everything that doesn’t become a record.

1. A message arrivesFrom a channel or project you connected. Nothing else is visible to us.

2. Read in memoryThe detector scores it. Ordinary talk is dropped right here.

3. Draft to peopleLikely decisions go to the people in the thread, not to anyone else.

4. Record savedOnly after a person confirms. Only the quoted lines are stored.

Messages that never become a record are discarded within seconds and never written to disk.

TLS 1.2+ in transit and AES-256 at rest, with keys rotated every 90 days.

Does Because use our messages to train AI models?

No. Detection runs on models that are never trained on customer data. Your dismissals only tune a small per-workspace filter that stays inside your workspace.

Can an admin read every record?

Only records from channels the admin can already see. Admins manage settings and connections, not access to private conversations.

What happens if we disconnect a channel?

Because stops reading it immediately. Existing records stay unless you choose to delete them, which you can do in one step.

Where is our data hosted?

In the region you pick when you create the workspace: Frankfurt for the EU, Virginia for the US. It doesn’t move unless you ask.
